OUR STORY
It all started with delicious hot chocolate
Life is too short not to have the best.
Here at Cocoba, we believe in creating exceptional quality chocolate products and drinks to enjoy. We search the globe for the highest quality cocoa beans and best tasting chocolate (it’s a tough job, but someone has to do it).
The concept for the chocolate brand started with a memory. Cocoba’s founder, Darren, is from Australia where he grew up sharing delicious hot chocolates with his grandfather that he carefully made, not from powder, but using real, premium chocolate.
When Darren came to the UK, he could not find a chocolate drink that matched the one from his childhood, so he decided to create it.
Today, the same love and care his grandfather put in to his hot chocolate can be found in every one of Cocoba’s chocolate products.
WHERE IT ALL STARTED
Cocoba first launched as a pop-up kiosk in Brent Cross Shopping Centre in 2012, serving our signature hot chocolates and handmade chocolate treats.
The kiosk quickly became so popular that, just over a year later, Darren took the plunge and opened the first Cocoba Chocolate Café in Bluewater Shopping Centre, Kent - now a much-loved independent gem renowned for its exceptional hot chocolates and irresistible chocolate desserts.
FROM COUNTER TO LUXURY CHOCOLATE BRAND
As word went round and the popularity of our cafe grew, so did our customers' love of our chocolate and hot chocolate products which we were making and decorating by hand behind the counter.
In 2016, we opened our first production unit and warehouse, just down the road from the cafe, enabling us to finally offer our handmade chocolate treats to more than just a handful of customers!
Since then, we have seen our chocolate brand grow from strength to strength, evolving into the luxury chocolate gifting and hot chocolate experts we are today.
We are now in our third and biggest production unit so far (hopefully we won't outgrow this one for a while!), and are happily able to supply our exquisite chocolate and hot chocolate treats to farm shops and delis all over the UK and beyond, as well as some larger retailers too.

CHOCOLATE HONEYCOMB
Our chocolate covered honeycomb has been dazzling customers time and time again ever since we introduced it. Broken into large chunks, and thickly enrobed in either milk chocolate or salted caramel chocolate, our honeycomb gives a truly decadent crunch.

Hot Chocolate Bombes
On our mission to create exceptional hot chocolate, we created the perfect hot chocolate bombe, and launched our reputation as expert hot chocolate makers. Today, our bombes come in a variety of flavours, shapes, and colours - we even have magical colour-changing bombes!
