What kind of milk is best for hot chocolate?

We recommend using whole milk for the creamiest hot chocolate. if you prefer plant-based milks, we'd recommend oat milk. It's what we use in the Cocoba Cafe and it gives a beautiful mouth-feel similar to whole milk.

However, any milk you enjoy works! Almond milk, soy milk, or even coconut milk create delicious alternatives for those with dietary restrictions.

Do you put in milk before or after hot chocolate?

We'd recommend pouring the milk in the mug before stirring your spoon. Place your hot chocolate bombe in the mug before the milk, and with then add the milk chocolate flakes to a bit of boiling water to make a thick paste before adding your warm milk.

Does adding milk to hot chocolate make it better?

Absolutely! Milk adds creaminess and richness to hot chocolate, making it the perfect cosy beverage. While you can technically use hot water, milk takes your hot chocolate to the next level.
